Get in theplaytest.

We test in short, scheduled sessions on real servers with real people. You play, you break it, you tell us why. It costs nothing, and the game gets better every time someone is blunt about it.

What you need

  • A Windows 10 or 11 PC (64-bit)
  • A Discord account
  • To be 18 or older
  • A decent connection to US West. The servers are in Oregon.

Minimum specs: we'll publish them after Playtest 1.

How it works

  1. Apply

    Two minutes. Tell us who you are on Discord, what you play on and when you're free.

  2. Get the invite

    If there's a seat, we email you a Discord invite. Download and install steps are pinned in #how-to-play.

  3. Show up and play

    Sessions are announced in Discord. Launch, hit JOIN A LOBBY, and you're in. Afterwards there's a two-minute form.

Takes about two minutes. We invite testers in small batches so lobbies stay full of people instead of bots.

Ground rules

  • Be decent

    No harassment, slurs or threats in voice, chat or your player name. One strike.

  • Keep the build to yourself

    Don't share the download or server addresses outside the Discord.

  • Clips are fine

    Stream and post all you like. Keep the pre-alpha watermark on screen.

  • Bugs go in #bugs

    Opinions go in #feedback. "Who's on?" goes in #lfg.

Questions

Does it cost anything?

No. Playtests are free.

Can I stream it or post clips?

Yes. Keep the on-screen pre-alpha watermark visible and don't pass it off as the finished game.

Mac, Linux, Steam Deck, console?

Not yet. Windows PC only for now.

Why 18+?

Cartoon violence, crude humour, and a lot of jokes about vaping, nicotine, alcohol and drugs. It's a meme shooter.

What happens to my data?

Your application and the game's match stats, performance info and connection logs are kept for 90 days after the test, then deleted. One email gets it deleted sooner. Details are in the Privacy Notice.
